Product Features

T811 exhibits diverse forms at room temperature, which can be a white to yellow pasty solid or a pale yellow viscous liquid. It is hygroscopic. It has low solubility in water but is readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and benzene. It integrates multiple functions including catalysis, extraction and surface activity. It can effectively promote mass transfer in heterogeneous reaction systems, accelerate reaction rates and improve yields. It shows significant extraction effects on precious metal and rare metal ions.

Application

Phase Transfer Catalyst: It is widely used in organic synthesis reactions to promote heterogeneous reactions, and serves as a catalyst in 168 antioxidant to replace dimethylformamide (DMF).

Metal Ion Extractor: T811 is applied in the separation and purification of metal ions, and exhibits remarkable effects especially in the extraction of precious metals and rare metals.

Other Applications: It can also be used as a pesticide emulsifier, mineral flotation agent and extractant for organic-containing wastewater.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, T811is irritating to the skin and eyes. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

It should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated indoor place, protected from moisture and strictly guarded against exposure to sunlight.
