POLYCAT-5-PMDETA-FENTACAT-5 is an efficient catalyst, a low dosage (0.1%-2.0% in polyurethane rigid foam, 0.1%-0.5% in soft foam) can significantly accelerate the foaming reaction and shorten the milky time.
Balanced reaction: Coordinating foaming (reaction between isocyanate and water) and gelation (reaction between isocyanate and polyol), optimizing the foam pore structure and improving product uniformity.
Low VOC emissions: Active hydrogen participates in the reaction, reducing volatilization, and meeting environmental protection requirements.
POLYCAT-5-PMDETA-FENTACAT-5 Can be used in combination with gel catalysts such as DMCHA and DNCHA, adapting to complex formulations (such as flame retardants, cyclopentane foaming agents)
Application
Polyurethane industry: This is its most important application field. POLYCAT-5-PMDETA-FENTACAT-5 is widely used as a reaction catalyst for the production of hard foam and soft/hard foam. It can effectively regulate the balance of the foaming and curing processes.
Hard foam catalyst: Building insulation materials (such as PIR panels), refrigerator insulation layers, improving fluidity and dimensional stability.
Soft/hard foam catalyst: Automotive seats, mattresses, enhancing foaming speed and toughness.
Epoxy resin curing agent: POLYCAT-5-PMDETA-FENTACAT-5 as a curing agent or accelerator, reducing curing temperature.
Safety and Storage
POLYCAT-5-PMDETA-FENTACAT-5 is corrosive and harmful. It can cause severe skin burns and serious eye damage. It is harmful if swallowed or in contact with skin. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection is essential during handling.
