Product Features

Dicoco amine is a white waxy solids at room temperature. They are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and benzene. Their chemical properties are mainly determined by the secondary amino groups (-NH–) in the molecules, while the two long alkyl chains endow them with excellent oil solubility, hydrophobicity and surface activity.

Application

Dicoco amine is mainly used in the preparation of fiber waterproof softeners and antistatic agents. In agriculture, it can be utilized for manufacturing herbicides. It also serves as a stabilizer for dioxolane polymers.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, it is irritating and corrosive to the skin and eyes, and contact may cause burns. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

Stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition, heat, and oxidizing agents, and separated from incompatible substances such as acids.
