Product Features

OPDA13 is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid under ambient temperature and pressure. It possesses hydrophobic properties with low solubility in water, while exhibiting good compatibility with most organic solvents. OPDA13 features both hydrophilic groups and hydrophobic alkyl chains in its molecular structure, thus demonstrating excellent surface activity and being applicable in emulsification, dispersion and other processes. The two amino groups (-NH₂) in its molecule enable it to act as a crosslinking agent in reactions, helping to form a three-dimensional network structure during polymer synthesis and improving the mechanical properties of the final products.

Application

Polyurethane Industry: Serves as a crosslinking agent in the production of polyurethane elastomers and coatings, helping to adjust product viscosity and improve tensile properties.

Surfactants: Leveraging its amphiphilic structure, it is used as a surfactant.

Safety and Storage

From a safety perspective, OPDA13 is irritating and corrosive to the skin and eyes, and contact may cause burns. Strict personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact.

In case of skin or eyes contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water for at least 30 minutes and seek medical assistance.

Stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition, heat, and oxidizing agents.Store separately from incompatible substances such as acids.
